STAND INSTALLATION (Only 32, 37 inch LCD TV Models) Carefully place the TV screen side down on a cushioned surface to protect the screen from damage. 2 Assemble the TV as shown. 3 Fix the 4 bolts securely using the holes in the back of the TV. PREPARATION 1 ATTACHING THE TV TO A DESK (Only 32/37LT7* model) The TV must be attached to desk so it cannot be pulled in a forward/backward direction, potentially causing injury or damaging the product. Use only an attached screw.
PREPARATION ATTACHING THE TV TO A WALL (This feature is not available for all models.) â â PREPARATION Position the TV close to the wall to avoid the possibility of it falling when pushed. The instructions shown below are a safer way to set up the TV, which is to fix it to the wall, avoiding the possibility of it falling forwards if pulled. This will prevent the TV from falling forward and causing injury. This will also prevent the TV from damage. Ensure that children do not climb or hang from the TV.

EARTHING Ensure that you connect the earth wire to prevent possible electric shock. If grounding methods are not possible, have a qualified electrician install a separate circuit breaker. Do not try to earth the TV by connecting it to telephone wires, lightening rods or gas pipes.
PREPARATION â To prevent damage do not connect to the mains outlet until all connections are made between the devices. ANTENNA CONNECTION For optimum picture quality, adjust antenna direction. â An antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

This section on EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT SETUP mainly uses diagrams for the Plasma TV models. HD RECEIVER SETUP â EJECT This TV can receive Digital RF/Cable signals without an external digital set-top box. However, if you do receive AV 1 Digital signals from a digital set-top box or other PCMCIAdigital external device, refer to the diagram as shown below.

TELETEXT This feature is not available in all countries. Teletext is a free service broadcast by some TV stations which gives up-to-the-minute information on news, weather, television programmes, share prices and many other topics. The teletext decoder of this TV can support the SIMPLE, TOP and FASTEXT systems. SIMPLE (standard teletext) consists of a number of pages which are selected by directly entering the corresponding page number.
FASTEXT The teletext pages are colour coded along the bottom of the screen and are selected by pressing the corresponding coloured button.
