CAPTION MODE Analog Broadcasting System Captions Captions are provided to help people with hearing loss watch TV. Select a caption mode for displaying captioning information if provided on a program. Analog caption displays information at any position on the screen and is usually the program's dialog. KEY LOCK The TV can be set up so that it can only be used with the remote control. This feature can be used to prevent unauthorized viewing by locking out the front panel controls. This TV is programmed to remember which option it was last set to even if you turn the TV off.
APPENDIX TROUBLESHOOTING The operation does not work normally. Check to see if there is any object between the product and the remote control causing obstruction. Ensure you are pointing the remote control directly at the TV. ■ Ensure that the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+ to +, - to -). ■ Ensure that the correct remote operating mode is set: TV, VCR etc. ■ Install new batteries. *This feature is not available for all models.
