Please make sure the battery is removed from the phone before installing the SIM card. To remove the SIM card, pull it out gently.
ge ery y s s. y Charging your phone Connect the Travel Adapter (Charger) and the included USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the phone and plug it into a power socket. Your GD880 must be charged until the “Battery full“ message appears on the screen. NOTE: The battery must be fully charged initially to improve battery life. Disregard the first “Battery full” message and keep the phone on charge overnight.
Memory card Installing a memory card You can expand your phone’s memory by using a MicroSD memory card. NOTE: A memory card is an optional accessory. 1 Slide the slot cover down. 2 Put the microSD card into the slot. Make sure the gold contact area is facing down 3 Slide the slot cover up. The GD880 will support up to an 32GB memory card. Us Formatting the memory card Your memory card may already be formatted. If it isn’t, you will need to format it before you can use it.

The touchscreen is sensitive enough to pick up a light, firm touch. • Use the tip of your finger to touch the option you require. Be careful not to touch any other keys. • Whenever your GD880 is not in use, it will return to the lock screen. Your home screen From here you can access all the menu options, make a quick call, view the status of your phone and much more. You can add favourite menus to the main menu 1 Touch from the home screen. 2 If you want to remove a favourite menu, touch on the upper right of the icon. If you want to add favourite menus to the main menu, touch Add on the bottom right of the screen.

Touch to bring up the touch dialling pad to make a call. Touch to open your Contacts. To search for the number you want to call, enter the name of the contact into the Search field at the top of the screen using the touchpad. You can also create new contacts, edit existing ones, etc. Touch to access the Messaging menu.

Select the contact you want to assign to that number by touching the contact’s phone number once. To find a contact, tap the Search field box and enter the first letter of the contact’s name.

Signature - Create an email signature. Priority - Choose the priority level of your email messages. Maximum receive size - Select the maximum receive size: 100KB, 200KB, 300KB, 500KB, 1MB, 2MB, 2.2MB.

Multimedia You can store any multimedia files on your phone’s memory to have easy access to all your pictures, sounds, videos and games. You can also save your files to a memory card.
