Installation ENGLISH Where to install 1. Place your appliance where it is easy to use. 2. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight or moisture. Do not operate the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed directly, or indirectly to sun, wind and rain. 3. To ensure proper air circulation around the fridge -freezer, please maintain sufficient space on both the sides as well as top and maintain at least 2 inches (5 cm) from the rear wall. 4.

Installation ENGLISH Feed water pipe installation (Dispenser model only) Before installation ▪Automatic ice maker operation needs water pressure of 147~834kPa (1.5~8.5kgf/cm2) (The pressure is correct when an instant paper cup (180cc) is filled in 3 sec.). ▪If water pressure does not reach the rating 147kPa(1.5kgf/cm2) or below, it is necessary to purchase a separate pressure pump for normal automatic icing and cool water feed.
Installation The refrigerator doors will close smoothly by adjusting the front side using the height adjustment screw. If the doors do not close correctly, performance may be affected. Next 1. Wipe off all dust accumulated during shipping and clean your appliance thoroughly. 2. Install accessories such as the ice cube box, cover evaporating tray, etc., in their proper places. They are packed together to prevent possible damage during shipping. 3. Connect the power supply cord (or plug) to the outlet.

The sound signifies that the ice outlet is closed ▪ NB : Please wait for 2-3 seconds before removing the cup from beneath the dispenser to ensure it has finished dispensing the ice or water.
ENGLISH Operation Door mounted automatic icemaker (on some model) Power Switch Feeler Arm ▪ The icemaker automatically makes 6 cubes of ice at any one time, which equals approximately 50-60 cubes per day. These quantities, however, may vary according to climatic conditions. E.g. the duration and amount of times the refrigerator door is opened. ▪ Icemaking stops when the ice storage bin is full. ▪ If you don’t want to use the automatic icemaker, turn the icemaker switch to OFF.

WARNING • Never insert your hand or any other object into the ice chute as this may damage dispenser parts or cause injury to the hand. • If ice is discoloured, stop using the dispenser and call the service centre. • Do not touch the blade ① ⓐ as it may injure the hand. • Never insert your hands into the ice maker during operation. Filter condition (filter replacement cycle) display function (on some model) ▪ There is a replacement indicator light for the water filter cartridge on the dispenser. ▪ The water filter should be replacedevery six months. ▪ The filter light comes on as a reminder to let you know when to replace filter. ▪ After replacing the filter, press and hold the filter button for more than 3 seconds to reset the indicator.
Operation Door open warning ▪ A warning bleep will sound 3 times every 30 seconds if the main or minibar door is left open or ajar for more than a minute. ▪ Please contact your local service centre if the warning continues to sound when the door is closed. Diagnosis (failure detection) function ▪ The Diagnosis function automatically detects the problem when a failure is found whilst using of refrigerator.
ENGLISH Operation Freezer basket (two stars section) Two stars section ** (Applicable to some models only) ▪ Two stars means the temperature in the section is -12°C~ -18°C. ▪ Freezer foods for short-term storage. Refreshment center(Applicable to some models only) Open the minibar door. ▪ You can access the minibar without opening the refrigerator door, thus saving electricity. ▪ Inner lamp is lit in the refrigerator compartment when the minibar door opens, making it easy to identify the contents.
Operation Store water in the water tank to use the Auto Ice Maker function and Water Dispenser function without having to connect the water pipe to the refrigerator. ENGLISH Care and maintenance General information Vacation time During average length vacations, you will probably find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation. Place freezable items in freezer for longer life. When you plan not to operate, remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave each door OPEN to prevent odour formation. Most power failures that are corrected in an hour or two will not affect your refrigerator temperatures.
