P roduct Features The Turbo Drum DD washing machine does not operate with the lid open. If the lid is opened during wash, rinse and spin cycles, the machine will stop automatically. Please close the door gently. Introduction F unction Information Our machine provides various washing methods which suits various conditions and types of laundry. Different types of laundry washing FUZZY Wash Use this Program for mixed loads e.g. sheets, towels, T-shirts. (refer to page 16) JEANS Wash Use this Program for heavily soiled durable garments e.g. overalls, jeans. Thick and heavy clothes or those which are excessively dirty like jeans or working uniforms can be washed.
Before Starting to Wash P reparation Before Washing Care Labels * Look for a care label on your clothes. This will tell you about the fabric content of your garment and how it should be washed. Sort clothes into loads that can be washed with the same wash cycle, Water Temperature and spin speed. 16) Sorting To get the best results, different fabrics need to be washed in different ways. • SOIL (Heavy, Normal, Light) Separate clothes according to the type and amount of soil.
Before Starting to Wash 10 U se of Water, Dispenser Drawer, Detergent, Bleach and Softener Usin Using Water Amount of WATER LEVEL • This machine detects the quantity of laundry automatically, then sets the WATER LEVEL and proper amount of Detergent. • When you select a wash program, the WATER LEVEL and amount of Detergent (to be used) will be shown on the control panel. • The following table shows the amount of water.
Detergent Follow the Detergent package directions. Using too little Detergent is a common cause of laundry problems Use more Detergent if you have hard water, large loads, greasy or oily soils or lower Water Temperature. Choosing the right Detergent We recommend the use of front loader type, low sudsing high efficiency Detergent(powder,liquid or concentrated). Soap flakes or granulated soap powders should not be used in your washing machine.
Before Starting to Wash 12 U se of Water, Dispenser Drawer, Detergent, Bleach and Softener Using Liquid Bleach • Check clothing care label for special instructions and separate the laundry to be bleached • Dilute liquid chlorine bleach. • Measure the recommended amount of liquid bleach carefully following instructions on the bottle. • Before starting the washer, pour measured amount of bleach directly into bleach dispenser. Avoid splashing or overfilling.
WARNING Do not use or mix liquid chlorine bleach with other household chemicals such as toilet cleaners, rust removers, acid or products containing ammonia. These mixtures can produce dangerous fumes which can cause serious injury or death. To reduce the risk of fire or serious injury to persons or property, comply with the basic warnings listed below: • Read and comply with all instructions on stain removal products.

Washing Programs 18 S 1 OAK Wash Use this mode to wash normal clothes or thick and heavy clothes which are excessively dirty. SOAK mode can be used with the FUZZY or JEAN or SILENT or FAVORITE program. Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button to turn power on. POWER AUTO OFF 2 Press the PROGRAM button to select the washing program. START PAUSE 3 Press the WASH button, to select SOAK program.

Washing Programs 20 S 1 ILENT Wash Use this program to wash quietly in SILENT especially during late night and dawn. Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button to turn power on. POWER AUTO OFF 2 Press the PROGRAM button to select SILENT program. START PAUSE 3 Add the laundry into the washing tub. START PAUSE 4 Press the START/PAUSE button. START PAUSE 5 Add the Detergent and close the lid. NOTE • SILENT program is longer in wash time than FUZZY program.
1 If scrud is allowed to build-up in the machine it can result in stains on your clothes or give an unpleasant smell in your washer. Scrud is the waxy build-up that can occur within any washer when the fabric softener comes into contact with Detergent in conjunction with excessive soap usage and cold water. The Tub Clean function can help prevent scrud build up. by cleansing the inner and outer bowl. Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button to turn power on.
Additional Function Program 22 A 1 IR DRY AIR DRY can be used to further remove moisture after the wash cycle by subjecting the load to air currents within the machine. This function will not dry clothes completely and should only be used for loads under 2 kg. Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button to turn power on. POWER AUTO OFF 2 When you press the Air dry button for 3 seconds, the Air dry course will be selected. • When the Air dry is selected, other buttons will be inactive.

The hours to be delayed can be set by the user accordingly. The time on the display is the finishing time, not the start time. Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button to turn power on. POWER AUTO OFF 2 Press the PROGRAM button to select the washing program. 3 Press the DELAY START (RESERVATION) button. • Select the program for laundry on the Control panel.
O Child Lock Function If you want to lock all the keys to prevent settings from being changed by a child, you can use the child lock option. How to Lock 1 Press the POWER (AUTO OFF) button. • Turn Power on. POWER AUTO OFF 2 Press the START/PAUSE button to start washing. • After all washing conditions are set according to the manual. Installation I nstallation Caution Improper installation of the washer may cause noise and malfunctioning. 1. The ventilation openings in the base area must not be ostructed by carpet when the washing machine is installed on a carpeted floor. 2. Install the washing machine on a solid, level surface. Installation I nstallation How to install the drain hose 1. Fit the machine end of the drain hose to the outlet of the drain pump and tighten the clamp. C 2. Put the other end of the drain hose over the standpipe or wash tub. 3. Fit the plastic holder into the holes located at either side of the rear of the machine. The holder will fit in either direction accordign to location of the standpipe.

C onnecting Water Supply Hose Installation Screw Type 1 Attach the water supply hose to the tap. Push the water supply hose up so that the rubber packing within the hose can adhere completely to the tap. Water tap Rubber Packing Water Supply Hose 2 Connect the water supply hose to the tap. Connect the water supply hose to the tap and then tighten it by screwing it to the right. 3 Check water leakage. After connecting the hose at both ends, open the tap to check for any water leakage.

Troubleshooting C ommon washing problems Many washing problems involve poor soil & stain removal, residues of lint and scum, and fabric damage. For satisfactory washing results, follow these instructions.
