By pressing and holding down a number key, your phone will recall the phone number associated from the Contacts list and display it briefly while simultaneously dialing that phone number for you. Speed Dial Number 1 is set Page 23 to Voice Mailbox by default and is unchangeable.

When you call automated systems such as voice mail or credit billing number, you often have to enter a series of numbers to navigate through the system. Instead of entering these numbers by hand, you can store the numbers in your Contacts separated by special pause characters (W, P).
