Clear Filter
Plasma TVs with Clear Filter technology offer several advantages over
conventional glass filters:
• Internal reflections are eliminated
• Contrast is increased by 20%
• Brightness is increased by 5%
• Weight is reduced by 20%
• Depth is reduced by 10mm
With X-Studio technology, your TV becomes an enormous picture
frame for your digital photos via 2 slots. 9 different types of card can be
used with the integrated card reader. You can also play back MP3 music
files. It is even possible to set a slide show of your photos whilst playing
music from your collection.
DCDi
(Directional Correlation De-interlacing)
DCDi is the high-quality processing circuit that provides the best quality
picture for any interlaced video picture format. Created by the famous
Faroudja image processing house, this technology helps to remove jagged
edges by looking for diagonal lines and curves within an image and
accurately reproducing them.
PIP
(Picture in Picture)
LG TVs with PIP functionality offer users the ability to display two video
signals on the screen at one time. Users can freely adjust the size and
position of the second window and switch between each window with
the remote control.
Double Window
Similar to PIP functionality, Double Window offers users the ability to
display two video signals on the screen at one time, side by side. Users
can freely switch between each window with the remote control.
Intelligent Eye
This technology improves the perceived picture detail, contrast and colour
by measuring the ambient light conditions in your room and optimising
the TV picture accordingly. This gives the optimum picture quality in any
environment whilst conserving energy consumption.
