Lifting and moving the TV ENGLISH When moving or lifting the TV, read the following to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation regardless of its type and size. • It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in. • Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables. • When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage. • Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly.
Adjusting the Menu When the TV is turned on, press button one time. You can adjust the Menu items pressing or moving the buttons. NOTE • If you press the joystick button first, you may not be able to adjust the volume level and saved programmes. (Depending upon model) The Kensington security system connector is located at the rear of the TV. For more information of installation and using, refer to the manual provided with the Kensington security system or visit http://www.kensington.com.
Mounting on a wall CAUTION ENGLISH An optional wall mount can be used with your LG Television. Consult with your local dealer for a wall mount that supports the VESA standard used by your TV model. Carefully attach the wall mount bracket at the rear of the TV. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. If you are attaching the TV to other building materials, please contact qualified personnel to install the wall mount.
Connections (Notifications) Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to watch TV. The illustrations may differ from the actual items and an RF cable is optional. CAUTION • Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable. Copper wire NOTE • If you record a TV program on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connect the TV signal input cable to the TV through a DVD recorder or VCR. For more information about recording, refer to the manual provided with the connected device.
Remote control ENGLISH The descriptions in this manual are based on the buttons on the remote control. Please read this manual carefully and use the TV correctly. To install batteries, open the battery cover, replace batteries (1.5 V AAA) matching the and ends to the label inside the compartment, and close the battery cover. Failure to match the correct polarities of the battery may cause the battery to burst or leak, resulting in fire, personal injury, or ambient pollution.
Settings To set up the channels automatically SETTINGS CHANNEL Auto Tuning To select picture mode SETTINGS PICTURE Picture Mode Select the picture mode optimized for the viewing environment or the program. • Vivid: Adjusts the video image for the retail environment by enhancing the contrast, brightness, color, and sharpness. • Standard: Adjusts the image for a normal environment. • APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption.
To use Energy Saving feature SETTINGS PICTURE ꕊ Energy Saving ENGLISH Saves electric power by adjusting screen brightness. • Off: Turns off the Energy Saving. • Minimum/Medium/Maximum: Applies the preset Energy Saving. • Screen off: Screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button except Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on. To set the caption SETTINGS OPTION Caption View captions when the TV station provides captioned programming.

Soulèvement et déplacement du téléviseur Installation du téléviseur Lorsque vous désirez déplacer ou soulever le téléviseur, lisez tout d’abord ce qui suit pour éviter d’égratigner ou d’endommager le téléviseur, ainsi que pour effectuer un transport sécuritaire sans égard au type et à la taille du téléviseur. • Il est recommandé de déplacer le téléviseur en utilisant la boîte ou le matériel d’emballage dans lequel il a été livré à l’origine.
Réglages du menu Lorsque le téléviseur est allumé, appuyez une fois sur le bouton . Vous pouvez régler les éléments du menu en appuyant sur les boutons ou en les faisant bouger. Met l’appareil hors tension. Permet d’accéder au menu principal. Efface ce qui est affiché à l’écran et retourne au visionnement de la télévision. Change de source d’entrée. (Selon le modèle.) Installation sur un mur FRANÇAIS Une fixation murale optionnelle peut être utilisée pour installer votre téléviseur LG. Consultez votre fournisseur local afin de trouver une fixation murale qui correspond aux normes VESA de votre modèle de téléviseur. Posez soigneusement le support de fixation murale au dos de votre téléviseur. Installez-le sur un mur solide qui est perpendiculaire au sol.
Connexions (Notifications) Raccordement à une antenne ou au câble Vous pouvez brancher différents appareils sur le téléviseur. Télécommande FRANÇAIS Les descriptions qui se trouvent dans le présent manuel font référence aux touches qui se trouvent sur la télécommande. Utilisation du mode d’économie d’énergie Pour régler les sous-titres SETTINGS IMAGE ꕊ Économie d’énergie SETTINGS OPTION SOUS-TITRES Permet de réduire la consommation d’énergie en réglant la brillance de l’écran. Cette option permet d’afficher des sous-titres si la chaîne de télévision en offre pour ses émissions. Les sous-titres des émissions ne sont pris en charge que pour les diffusions numériques/analogiques et pour les entrées externes.
Retrait des dispositifs USB Formats de photos pris en charge [Pour 28LJ4540] Q.MENU Éjection USB [Pour 28LJ4540] Une fois qu’est affiché le message vous indiquant que le dispositif USB a été retiré, retirez le dispositif de la télé. • Une fois qu’est sélectionné un dispositif de stockage USB en vue de son retrait, son contenu ne peut plus être lu. Pour ce faire, vous devez le retirer, puis le rebrancher.
