ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Setting Up the TV When moving or lifting the TV, read the following to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation regardless of its type and size. Attaching the stand CAUTION Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen or some of the pixels used to create images. If you are not mounting the TV to a wall, use the following instructions to attach the stand.

CAUTION Do not carry the TV upside-down as this yy may cause it to fall off its stand, resulting in damage or injury. CAUTION Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward. Do not over tighten. Do not carry the TV upside-down by holding yy the stand body as this may cause it to fall off, resulting in damage or injury.
ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Detaching the stand 13 3 Pull out the Stand Body from the TV. ENGLISH 1 Place the TV with the screen side down on a flat and cushioned surface. CAUTION Lay a foam mat or soft protective cloth yy on the surface to protect the screen from damage. When detaching the stand to the TV, yy place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches. It may injure your fingers. The Kensington security system connector is located at the back of the TV. Transmits the digital video and audio signals from an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the HDMI cable as shown on the following illustration. AUDIO IN (PC) ENGLISH Transmits the digital video signal from an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the HDMI to DVI cable as shown in the following illustration. To transmit an audio signal, connect an optional audio cable.

MAKING CONNECTIONS Connecting a PC ENGLISH NOTE yyIt is recommended to use an HDMI connection for the best image quality. yyIn PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear. yyThe synchronization input form for Horizontal and Vertical frequencies is separate.

To replace batteries, open the battery cover, replace batteries (1.5 V AAA) matching and ends to the label inside the compartment, and close the battery cover. La connexion HDMI est la meilleure qui soit. Transmet les signaux audio et vidéo numériques d’un appareil externe vers le téléviseur.

Reliez l’appareil externe et le téléviseur au moyen d’un câble DVI-HDMI, comme l’indique l’illustration suivante. HDMI IN AUDIO IN ou (RGB/DVI) Si vous n'utilisez pas de haut-parleur externe optionnel, raccordez l'appareil externe au téléviseur au moyen d'un câble audio optionnel.

Si vous observez du bruit, changez la résolution de la sortie PC, changez la fréquence de rafraîchissement, ou réglez la brillance et le contraste dans le menu IMAGE pour obtenir une image nette.
