When connecting with a component cable

Connect the video outputs (Y, PB, PR) of the DVD
to the COMPONENT DVD IN (Y, PB, P
R) jacks on
the set.
Connect the audio outputs of the DVD to the
AUDIO input jacks on the set.
Turn on the DVD player, insert a DVD.
Select
Component input source with using the
TV/AV button on the remote control.
Refer to the DVD player's manual for operating
instructions.
• Component Input ports
To get better picture quality, connect a DVD player
to the component input ports as shown below.

Connect the scart socket of the DVD to the AV1 scart
socket on the set. Please use shielded scart cable.
Turn on the DVD player, insert a DVD.
Select
AV 1 input source with using the TV/AV button
on the remote control.
- If connected to AV2 scart socket, select
AV2 input
source.
