020 - FEATURE LEVEL
Determines an additional IR code scheme to which the TV will
respond, allowing for the use of unique IR codes based on “bed
number” in a multi-TV single room installation. First determine the
IR mode; then select the bed number.
Note: When item 027 HOSPITAL MODE is set to 0, both the
IR code that will control the TV and the speaker selection are
determined by this item (default = 1). Set this item as required to
enable Zenith Bed 1 or Bed 2 IR codes and speaker selections.
Values IR Mode Bed # Speaker
0 – 1 Zenith (Hospital) 1 – 2 TV Only
16 – 24 Multi-code Remote 1 – 9 TV Only
64 – 65 Zenith (Hospital) 1 – 2 Pillow Only
Note: See Reference section, “LG Pro:Centric Patient Remote
and Pillow Speaker,” for additional information. Also, see
documentation for the accessory package that includes the multi-
code remote.

V-CHIP is set to 0 or when item 084 PERMANENT BLK is set to 1.
023 - CAPTION LOCK

When Hospital Mode is set to 0 (disabled), both the IR code
that will control the TV and the speaker selection depend on the
Installer Menu item 020 FEATURE LEVEL setting.
Note: The default setting (254) is not selectable in the Installer
Menu. If you ever need to restore the default setting, you must
reload the factory default settings. See item 117 description and/or
Reference section, “Restoring Factory Defaults on the TV(s),” for
further information.
Note: In the Installer Menu, an informational code is displayed
at the right of each Hospital Mode value. Each code consists of
three characters. The rst character—T, P, or B—identies the
speaker: TV, Pillow, or Both. The second character—Z, P, R,
or D—identies the pillow speaker code: Zenith, Philips, RCA, or
Disabled. The third character—1 or 2—identies the bed number.
In the table above, each bolded character represents an element of
the Hospital Mode code.
028 - CH. OVERIDE (Channel Override)
This item either allows or restricts tuning of channels that are NOT
in the PTC Channel Map. If set to 1, end users can tune channels
that are not in the PTC Channel Map by direct keypad entry. If
set to 0, users are restricted to only the channels that are in the
PTC Channel Map. In the case of CPU-CTV Mode, there are no
channels in the PTC Channel Map; therefore, direct keypad entry
is not available. Also, when this item is set to 0, the PTC Channel
Map (PTC-CTV Mode)/CPU channel lineup (CPU-CTV Mode)
is locked, and user access to channel settings in the TV setup
menus is restricted.
Note: This item is not applicable when the TV is in FTG Mode.
