ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Using the IR Receiver ENGLISH ENG This allows a remote control sensor to be placed in a custom location. The IR receiver is made with a magnet. Attach the magnetic sheet to the desired position on the product. It is recommended to attach it to the location illustrated in the figure below. Using the Kensington security system The Kensington security system connector is located at the back of the monitor set.
ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Mounting on a Wall CAUTION 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm If you intend to mount the monitor to a wall, attach a Wall mounting interface (optional parts) to the back of the set. When you install the monitor using a wall mounting interface (optional parts), attach it carefully so it will not fall. 1 Please, use a wall mount and screws in accordance with VESA Standards. 2 If you use screws longer than standard, the monitor might be damaged internally.
ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Securing the product to a wall (optional) ENGLISH ENG (Depending on model) 1 Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or product brackets and bolts on the back of the product. - If there are bolts inserted at the eye-bolts position, remove the bolts first. 2 Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the product. 3 Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope.
REMOTE CONTROL 13 The descriptions in this manual are based on the buttons of the remote control. Please read this manual carefully and use the monitor set correctly. To replace batteries, open the battery cover, replace batteries (1.5 V AAA) matching and ends to the label inside the compartment, and close the battery cover. To remove the batteries, perform the installation actions in reverse. CAUTION Do not mix old and new batteries, as this yy may damage the remote control.

Connect the PC and the monitor with the 15-pin signal cable as shown an following illustration. Select RGB input. To transmit an audio signal, connect an optional audio cable. * Plug & Play: A PC will have a built-in driver for the monitor, no extra software is needed. Back of the product.

This is image burn or burn-in and not covered by the warranty. If you don't use your monitor, turn the power off or set a screen saver program from the PC or the yy system to prevent image retention. »» It is recommended to turn the power off for 2 hours after 16 hours of continuous use.

ENTERTAINMENT ENGLISH ENG ENTERTAINMENT Using the Network Connecting to a Wired Network Connect the display to a local area network (LAN) via the LAN port as shown in the following illustration and set up the network settings. Only supports wired network connection. After making a physical connection, a small number of home networks may require the display network settings to be adjusted. For most home networks, the display will connect to automatically without any adjustments.
ENTERTAINMENT NOTE yy A DSL modem is required to use DSL service and a cable modem is required to use cable modem service. Depending on the access method of and subscriber agreement with your ISP, you may not be able to use the internet connection feature contained in this display or you may be limited to the number of devices you can connect at the same time. (If your ISP limits sub scription to one device, this display may not be allowed to connect when a PC is already connected.

The picture is improved by making bright parts brighter and dark parts darker. This feature enhances (Off/High/Low) hue, saturation and luminance so that red, blue, green and white look more vivid.

CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS 51 PIP/PBP Mode *PIP (Picture In Picture): Displays the Sub screen in the main screen. *PBP (Picture By Picture): Displays the Sub screen next to the main screen. ENG ENGLISH Displays videos or photos stored in the USB device on a single monitor by dividing it into the main and sub screens. (See page 41.) NOTE yyThe subscreen is only supported when using the USB device.
CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS Picture ID Settings 3 If you press the left/right buttons or the red ON ENGLISH ENG Picture ID is used to change the settings of a specific display using a single IR receiver for multi-vision. Communication is possible between a monitor with an IR receiver and other monitors using RS232C cables. Each monitor is identified by a Set ID. If you assign the Picture ID using the remote control, only displays with the same Picture ID and Set ID can be controlled remotely.

Multiple DVI cables are required to connect multiple monitors. 1 Connect the input ports of your PC and Monitor 1 using the DVI cable. 2 Connect the output port of Monitor 1 and the input port of Monitor 2 using another DVI cable. 3 Follow the same procedure to connect the other monitors.
