Radio Operations
Be sure that both FM aerial is connected. (Refer to
the page 16.)
Listening to the radio
1. Select tuner (FM) function by using
P
RADIO&INPUT on the remote control or FUNC.
on the unit. The last received station is tuned in.
2. Auto tuning :
Press and hold TUNING-/+ on the remote
control or turn
Y/U
knob on the unit
clockwise or counterclockwise and hold it
for about two seconds until the frequency
indication starts to change, then release.
Scanning stops when the unit tunes in a station.
Manual tuning :
Press TUNING-/+ on the remote control or
turn
Y/U
knob on the unit clockwise or
counterclockwise repeatedly.
3. Adjust the volume level by pressing VOL +/-
repeatedly.
Improving poor FM reception
Press
d
PLAY, MONO/STEREO on the remote
control. This will change the tuner from stereo to
mono and usually improve the reception.
Presetting the Radio Stations
You can preset 50 stations for FM.
Before tuning, make sure that you have turned
down the volume.
1. Select tuner (FM) function by using
P
RADIO&INPUT.
2. Select a radio station you want to preset by
using TUNING-/+ on the remote control.
3. Press
b
ENTER. A preset number will ash in
the display window.
4. Press PRESET (-/+) to select the preset number
you want.
5. Press
b
ENTER. The station is stored.
6. Repeat the steps 2 to 5 to store other stations.
7. To listen to a preset station, press
PRESET (-/+) or 0 to 9 numerical buttons.
Deleting all the saved stations
1. Press and hold CLEAR for two seconds.
“ERASE ALL will ash up on the unit display.
2. Press CLEAR to erase all the saved radio stations.
Deleting a saved station
1. Press PRESET (-/+) to Select a preset number
you want to delete.
2. Press CLEAR, the preset number will blink in the
display window.
3. Press CLEAR again to delete the selected preset
number.
