DEMO
In power o state, press DEMO on the unit once.
The unit will power on and display the each of
functions in the display window.
Turning off the sound
temporarily
Press MUTE
@
on the remote control to mute
your sound.
You can mute your sound in order, for example, to
answer the telephone. And “
q
” will appear in the
display window.
To cancel MUTE function, press MUTE
@
again or
adjust volume level by pressing VOL(+/-).
Screen Saver
The screen saver appears when you leave the unit
in stop mode for about ve minutes.
System Select - Optional
You must select the appropriate system mode for
your TV system. If “NO DISC” appears in the display
window, press and hold
M
(PAUSE) on the remote
control or SET/CD
M
on the unit for more than
ve seconds to be able to select a system. (AUTO/
PAL/NTSC)
Displaying file information
(ID3 TAG)
While playing an MP3 le containing le
information, you can display the information by
pressing DISPLAY on the remote control.
AUTO DJ playback
u
Auto DJ blends the end of one song into the
beginning of another for seamless playback.
It equalizes volume across tracks/les for
uninterrupted playback.
Press AUTO DJ on the remote control or unit
repeatedly, the display changes as followings order,
(AUTO DJ RANDOM) ->(AUTO DJ SEQUENTIAL) ->
(AUTO DJ OFF).

• Searching for a section within a track/le
or playing repeatedly or randomly is not
supported on the AUTO DJ mode.
• If you switch to other functions or stop
playback by pressing
Z
(STOP) on the
remote control twice (or STOP on the unit)
on AUTO DJ mode, AUTO DJ function will
be disable.
• AUTO DJ function is not supported in the
music le whose length is less than 60
seconds.
• All musics are repeated continuously until
the user deactivates the AUTO DJ function.
• During the AUTO DJ operation, SCAN
function is not available.
• During recording, AUTO DJ function is not
available.
• If you change a disc while the AUTO
DJ function is activated, the function is
deactivated.
