General Playback
Playing Discs
1. Open the disc lid, and place a disc on the
disc tray.
2.
Close the disc lid.
3.
Press MODE.
5. Select [DISC] option using
b
/
B
, and press
ENTER ( ).
For the most Audio CD and DVD-ROM discs,
playback starts automatically.
6.
Select a le using
v
/
V
/
b
/
B
, and press
PLAY (
N
) or ENTER ( ) to play the le.
NOTE
Playback functions described in this manual are
not always available in every les and media. Some
functions can be restricted depending on many
factors.
To stop playback
Press STOP (
x
) while playback.
To pause playback
Press PAUSE/STEP (

) while playback.
Press PLAY (
N
) to resume playback.
To play frame-by-frame
DVD MOVIE
Press PAUSE/STEP (

) while movie playback.
Press PAUSE/STEP (

) repeatedly to play
Frame-by-Frame playback.
To scan forward or backward
DVD MOVIE ACD MUSIC
Press SCAN (

) to play fast forward
or fast reverse during playback.
You can change the various playback speeds

To slow down the playing speed

slow motion.
To skip to the next/previous
chapter/track/file
During playback, press SKIP (

go to the next chapter/track/le or to return to
