Main Unit c Playback control buttons • N / X (Play/Pause): Presses to start playback and pause playback temporarily, press again to exit pause mode. • x (Stop): Presses to stop playback. • . (Skip): Presses to search backward* or return to the beginning of current chapters/ tracks/ files or go to the previous chapters/ tracks/ files. • > (Skip): Presses to search forward* or go to next chapters/ tracks/ files. * Presses and hold button for about two seconds.

R zl{|w b kpzwsh T Pinch the battery holder clip together then pull the tab to remove the battery holder. Insert the battery with the + facing in the same direction as the + on the battery holder.
Connecting the Automotive adapter Power connections Connecting the AC Adapter Connect the supplied AC Adapter from the unit to a power socket. Plug into the car’s cigarette lighter socket. Plug into a power source. Plug into the “DC 12 V IN” jack. * The actual set may differ from the drawing. This unit and its automotive adapter are designed for use in vehicles that have 8.5 - 15 volt, negative ground electrical systems. This is standard for most vehicles.
Attaching the Battery Pack The following picture shows how to attach or detach the battery pack. You can attach or detach the battery pack as the following Attach / Detach • Charging time on the battery: - approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes (DP570D only) - approximately 2 hours (DP571D only) • The battery operating time may vary depending on the battery status, operational status and environment conditions. • The battery indicator will be turned on red light while be recharged.
Hooking up the unit Watching the TV program Audio and Video Connection Antenna Connection Connect the AV OUT jack on the unit to the corresponding input jacks on your TV using the supplied AV cable as shown below. Connect the TV antenna to the TV AVT jack on the unit after selecting one between A and B as shown below. Selecting the operation mode Adjust the settings You need to select a operation mode before using this unit. Press MODE on the unit and the operation mode selection menu appears. Use b B to select a mode then press ENTER. • Select [DISC] to playback the inserted disc. • Select [TV] to view the TV connecting the antenna. • Select [USB] to playback the file(s) in the connected USB Flash Drive.
Adjust the display settings Adjust the others settings TV Aspect – Select which screen aspect to use based on the shape of your TV screen. REC Bitrate – You can choose a bit rate for USB direct recording. Higher bit rate gives the better sound quality but uses more space on the USB Flash Drive. For USB direct recording, see page 16. [4:3]: Select when a standard 4:3 TV is connected. [16:9]: Select when a 16:9 wide TV is connected.
Skip to the next/previous chapter/track/file Playing a Disc REMOTE ALL Press SKIP (>) to move to the next chapter/track/file. Press SKIP (.) to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track/file. Press SKIP (.) twice briefly to step back to the previous chapter/track/file. 1 Insert a Disc: - Pause a playback 2 Start the playback: N PLAY Press PAUSE/STEP (X) to pause playback. Press PLAY ( N) to continue playback.
Hearing a different audio DivX DVD Last Scene Memory During playback, press AUDIO ( ) repeatedly to switch between the available audio languages, channels or encoding methods. Viewing the title menu DVD Press TITLE to display the disc's title menu, if available. Viewing the DVD menu DVD Press MENU to display the disc menu, if available. Slow down the playing speed DVD ( DivX Forward only) While the playback is paused, press SCAN (m or M) to slow down forward playback.

Viewing photo files Using an USB Flash Drive REMOTE 1 Insert a disc: - Select a photo file on the menu: 2 To go directly to file and play, enter the file number using the numbered buttons (0-9). v V, MENU Display the selected file in full screen: 3 Photo information displays on the screen. If you want to hide it, press RETURN (O).
USB Direct Recording Connect a USB Flash Drive to the unit before recording. Set [REC Bitrate] option to [96 kbps] or [128 kbps] as required. (Refer to 10 page) REMOTE 1 Insert an Audio CD: - 2 Select a track: To go directly to track and play, enter the track number using the numbered buttons (0-9).
Manual Channel Edit Auto Channel Memory You can edit a channel using [CHANNELS] option in the [TV SETUP] menu. Automatically finds all channels available and stores all the active channels found. 1. 2. 3. 4. Language Codes Use this list to input your desired language for the following initial settings: Disc Audio, Disc Subtitle, Disc Menu.
Troubleshooting Symptom No power. Specifications Cause Correction The power cord is disconnected. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet securely. The battery is discharged. Recharge the battery. The power is on, but the unit does not work. No disc is inserted. Insert a disc. No picture. The TV is not set to receive the signal from the unit. Select the appropriate video input mode on the TV. The video cable is not connected securely. Connect the video cable securely.
Enjoying in a car with the Headrest Mounting Bracket Separate the headrest. (Refer to your car’s user guide.) You can enjoy video in the back seat attaching the unit to the back of the front seat. Warnings • The driver must not operate this unit while the vehicle is moving. Do not operate this unit where it can be viewed by the driver. Driver operation or viewing of this unit while the vehicle is moving will cause distraction which may result in serious accident and personal injury or property damage.
Bracket installation to prevent shaking of LCD panel If you want to separate the Bracket In case of installation of this unit headrest of car seat, Bracket must be installed to prevent shaking of LCD panel as below. You can separate the Bracket using the release knob on the back of it. a b Insert one side of Bracket to LCD panel as picture. After installation of this unit on headrest, lift the LCD panel to the maximum as picture.
