If
you
connected
speakers

your
DVD
Player, setting
the
Distance
lets
the
speakers
know
how
far
the
sound
has
to
travel
to
reach
your
set
listening
point.
This
allows the
sound
from
each
speaker
to
reach
the
listen-
er
at
the
same
time.
