Basic
Playback
Press
STOP
during
playback.
For
your
convenience
When
play
is
stopped,
the
unit
records
the
point
where
STOP
was
pressed
(RESUME
function).
Press
RESUME,
and
play
will
resume
from
this
point.
When
the
tray
is
opened
or
PLAY
is
pressed
again,
the
RESUME
function
will
be
cleared.
The
RESUME
function
works
only
with
discs
for
which
the
elapsed
playing
time
appears
on
the
window
display
during
playback.
This
feature
will
be
cleared
when
the
power
is
turned
OFF
and
then
ON.
The
Resume
function
may
not
be
available
on
some
DVD
discs.
If
the
player
is
left
in
the
stop
mode
for
more
than
8
minutes,
the
power
shuts
off
automatically.
Press
PAUSE/STEP
during
playback.
DVD/Video
CD
The
player
will
be
placed
in
the
still
picture
mode.
CD
The
player
will
be
placed
in
the
pause
mode.
To
return
to
normal
playback,
press
PLAY.

Skipping

SKIP
during
play.
A
chapter
(DVD)
or
a
track
(Video
CD/CD)
is
skipped
each
time
the
button
is
pressed.
Skipping
back
Skipping

Press
SKIP
during
play.
When
the
button
is
pressed
once
midway
through
a
chapter/track,
the
player
returns
to
the
start
of
that
chapter/track.
When
it
is
pressed
again
immediately,
a
chapter/track
is
skipped
each
time
the
button
is
pressed.
For
your
reference:
When
SKIP
is
pressed
during
menu
play
of
video
CDs
with
playback
control,
a
menu
screen
may
sometimes
be
recalled.
