Basic
Playback
You can
play
back discs
at
various
speeds,
and resume normal
playback.
Various
speed playback
with Shuttle
Ring
In
the STILL
mode,
rotate and hold SHUTTLE
ring
to the
positions
indicated
gives
those slow modes.
The
variable-speed
slow
picture
will
appear
on the TV
screen.
Release the SHUTTLE
ring
to resume the still
pic-
ture mode.

Shuttle

slow-motion
To Scan at fast forward or fast reverse.
The DVD
player
does not
play
back sound
during
slow-motion
playback,
the
high
speed
reverse and forward
playback
of DVD
video discs.
However,
the DVD
player plays
back sound
during
fast forward
or fast reverse
playback
of audio CDs.
Subtitles do not
appear
on the screen
during
slow motion
playback.
The DVD
player provides
four
(4)
scan
speeds
for DVD movie
play. Only
two
(2)
scan
speeds
are available
during
Audio CD
play.
