The Start menu, located at the top left corner of the Today screen
,
displays a list of programs. It lets you easily switch from one program to
another. You can start a program by selecting it from the menu.
Programs
The following are some of the icons for the programs that are already
installed on your device.

Today Takes you to the Today screen.
Phone Opens the dialing screen and keypad.

Opens the Message menu (SMS/MMS).
E-mail Opens the Email accounts screen.
Calendar Opens the MS calendar
Internet Explorer Web Browser to access the Internet
Contacts Opens MS Contacts
Marketplace Link to (download) the Windows®
Marketplace for Mobile application.
Settings Opens the phone’s Settings menu.
Pictures &
Videos
Allows you to browse your phone
folders for Pictures and Videos.
