Assemble (Install) the earth firmly.
When the earth connection is unstable, it can cause a problem or an electric shock in
case of electricity leakage.
When installing and using the product in the following location, you must do an earth
construction by requesting to your retailer.(Earth construction is not free.)
• Unfloored or dirt floored (room with dirt and no floor), concrete floor etc., and
location where leakage and dew drops can occur including locations where water
can drip such as near the sink, basement etc.
Connect the earth wire to the earth connecting screw on
the rear side of the product.
Do not connect the earth wire to the following locations.
• Water pipe and gas pipe have the possibility of explosion and flammable danger.
• Telephone line earth and lightning rod are dangerous with high current in case of
lightning.
When installing near wet locations, you are obligated to install the circuit breaker in
addition to the earth wire. Consult with your retailer.
Earth (grounding) construction
It is recommended to install the earth to prevent electric
shock in case of electricity leakage.
About connection
• Connect the earth line to the earth wire assembly
screw on the back of the refrigerator.
Do not connect the earth wire to the following locations.
• Gas pipe
It can cause an explosion and can be flammable.
• Telephone earth wire and lightning rod
It is dangerous during lighting.
• Water pipe and water tap
The earth wire connection will not work when the middle of the water pipe is made of
plastic.
When installing the product in a humid or wet location, you must install the earth wire.
Ex) • Unfloored or dirt floored room (Room with dirt and no floor), concrete floor
• Location where it can get wet such as near the sink
• Location where water can leak or is humid such as basement
• Other wet or humid location
Especially, for locations where it always get wet such as near the restaurant sink, you are
obligated by the law to install a circuit breaker in addition to the earth wire.
After consulting with your retailer or electric construction company, you must do the earth
wire construction (Type 3 earth construction). Earth construction is not done for free.
