OPERATION Adjusting the Height of the Door If the door of the appliance is not level, adjust the difference in the height of appliance door using the following method. NOTE ••Because the hinge pin may falll out, do not adjust the height of the appliance door more than 5 cm. If it is impossible to adjust the height of the appliance door through the above method, level the door according to the following guide.

Setting and Resetting Lock Icemaker Taking Out Ice This locks the buttons on the control panel. ••When you press the Lock button for three seconds, the Set/Reset icon on the control panel lights. The function is enabled and disabled in turn each time you press the button. This is where ice is manually produced and stored. Cleaning the Ice Tray (Optional) Door in Door (Optional) 1 Hold the handle of ice tray and pull it out to remove. Press the lever on the lower edge door in door until it opens. SMART FUNCTION Application Installation Using the Tag On Function Using Smart Diagnosis™ Search for the LG Smart ThinQ application from the Google Play Store on a smart phone. Follow instructions to download and install the application. Conveniently use the Smart Diagnosis™ to communicate with the appliance directly from a smart phone. The Tag On function can only be used with most smart phones equipped with the NFC (Near Field Communication) function and based on the Android OS (operating system).

5 6 To reset the filter replacement period, press the Pure N Fresh button on the control panel for more than three seconds. The Replace icon on the control panel will turn off. It will then operate after replacing the filter.
