Bluetooth
operation
Connection
through
a bluetooth
phone
Turn on a Bluetooth
phone.
Refer to
your phone's
user
guide.
1. Press the PHONE button to select the
phone.
2. Touch the button.
The "SETUP" screen
appears
on the screen.
3. Touch the "Connect Phone" button.
The "CONNECT PHONE" screen
appears
on the screen.
The Bluetooth
phones
can be found
(searched) only
on
the "CONNECT PHONE" screen.
4. Perform
"Searching
a Bluetooth device" in the Bluetooth
phone.
5. Initiate the
pairing
and connection
process
on the unit
searched.
6. In an initial
connection,
the user will see the "INPUT PIN
CODE" screen.

For successful
connection,
make sure to enter the same
PIN code for Bluetooth
phone
and the unit.

The same instructions as
"connecting through
the unit"
apply correspondingly
to the
following.
Headset
functionality
The connection method is the same as "Hands-free
connection",
but the icon is
displayed
on the
upper right
side of the "PHONE" screen
right
after connected.
?
It works in the same
way
as the wired headset for bluetooth
phone.
The headset
functionality
is for
telephone
conversation.
It is not for
listening
to music.
?
Unlike the hands-free
functionality,
Headset connection will
allow
only
two functions
"answering
calls" and
"making
a call
from the latest call".
Also the caller's number is not
displayed
when
answering
calls.

If
connecting through
the
unit,
initiate the hands-free
connection first. If
your
Bluetooth
phone
does not
recognize
the hands-free
connection,
then initiate the
headset connection.
?
If
connecting through
a Bluetooth
phone,
the hands-free
connection or headset connection
may
not
operate
depending
on the
type
of the
phone.
