(RDS) operation
TA
(Traffic
announcement
identification)
This is an ON/OFF
switching signal
that indicates when a
traffic announcement is on air.
1. Touch the "TA" button.
The "On"
appears
on the screen.
2. To
cancel,
touch it
again.
PTY
(Program type recognition)
You can select
your
favorite
program type.
1. Touch the "PTY" button.
2. The PTY list is
displayed
in the screen.
3. Touch one of
your
favorite
program types.
(Music
or
Speech)
4. Touch one of
your
favorite PTY code name.
5. "PTY SEARCH"
appears
on the screen.
6. To
cancel,
touch the "Off" button.
REGION
1. Touch the
"Region"
button.
The "On"
appears
on the screen.
2. To
cancel,
touch it
again.
ON :
Network-Tracking
is activated.
The unit switches to another
station,
within the same
network,
broadcasting
the same
program
when the
receiving signals
from the current station become weak.
OFF :
Network-Tracking
is activated.
The unit switches to another
station,
within the same
network when the
receiving signals
from the current
station become
weak.(This
mode,
the
program may
differ from the one
currently received.)

RDS is
only
available for FM
reception.

In some
areas,
the PTY search will not work
correctly.

Touch the button in current screen to return to the
previous
screen.
