Setting the route



Simulate

This is the mode that is displayed when guidance

simulates. In this mode, the position of your vehicle is

superimposed on the map. It provides an easily

understood view of progress toward your destination.

The route is marked by a bold bright blue line.

End

Cancel routing altogether.



Resume

Exits the current screen.

Route Options

You can set the route option on the screen to make it

operate according to your particular needs.

(This option is included because some drivers prefer not to

make it.)

Touch the “Route Options” button.

The “ROUTE OPTIONS” screen displays on the screen.



Route Condition

Fast : The unit calculates the route by picking the shortest

distance and highest speed limits.

Short : The unit calculates the route by picking the

shortest distance.



Toll Road

If you select this option, the route will be calculated by

including toll roads that are needed. If you select the

“Avoided” option, the route will be calculated without any

toll roads.



Ferry

If you select this option, the route will be calculated by

including ferry crossings that are needed. If you select the

“Avoided” option, the route will be calculated without any

ferry crossings.
