3) Insulation tube thickness
① Thickness decision of insulation tube
• Insulation material: EPDM or polyethylene foam
• Thermal conductivity 0.035 kcal~0.040kcal/m·h°C(0.024~0.027Btu/ft·h℉)
• Heat resistance = 212°F(Cooling only) or more
248°F(Heat pump) or over
② The thickness of the thermal insulation material must be determined in the light of the pipe sizes.
③ It will be necessary to increase the thickness of insulation in the above table when conditions are hot and humid.
④ Where a customer supplies his own specifications then these must be adhered to.

Outdoor temperature and hummidity around the cooling piping might exceed 86°F and RH80%, reinforce the insulation
on the cooling piping (at least 13/16 inch thick)
