Installing the memory card
NOTE: The LG-P990 supports up to a 32
GB memory card.
To insert a memory card:
Slide the memory card into the slot until it
clicks into place. Make sure the gold contact
area on the card is facing downwards.
Removing a memory card
Carefully remove the memory card by gently
pushing it in to the phone and quickly
releasing it.
WARNING
Do not insert or remove the memory card
when the phone is on. Otherwise, you
may damage the memory card as well
as your phone and the data stored on
the memory card may be corrupted. To
remove the memory card safely, please
select Apps > Settings > Storage >
Unmount SD card.
Formatting the memory card
Your memory card may already be
formatted. If it isn’t, you must format it
before you can use it.
NOTE: All files on your memory card are
deleted when you format it.
1 On the home screen, touch the
Applications tab to open the
applications menu.
2 Scroll and touch Settings.
3 Scroll and touch Storage from the
DEVICE category.
4 Touch Unmount SD card.
5 Touch Erase SD card, then confirm your
choice.
