Displays the strength of the signal received by the phone and current signal strength is indicated by the number of bars displayed on the screen. In General mode. No service. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk and standby time when using the phone. Installing the Battery 1. Insert the bottom of the battery first into the bottom edge of the battery compartment. Ensure the battery contacts align with the terminals on the phone. 2.
