5. Using the Hard Reset (Factory reset)
WARNING
If you perform a Hard Reset, all user applications, user data and DRM
licenses will be deleted. Please remember to backup any important data
before performing a Hard Reset.
1 Turnthephoneoff.
2 PressandholdthePower/Lock Key +Volume Down Key .
3 ReleasethePower/Lock Key whentheLGlogoisdisplayed.
4 PressthePower/Lock Key againwithin3seconds.
5 WhentheFactorydataresetscreenappear,releaseallkeys.
6 PressthePower/Lock Key twomoretimesdisplayedonthescreeninthisstate,
FactoryResetisperformed.
7 IfwhenyoupresstheVolume Up Key orVolume Down Key ,Factory
ResetisnotperformedandbootsNormally.
6. Opening and switching applications
Multi-taskingiseasywithAndroidbecauseyoucankeepmorethanoneapplicationrunning
atthesametime.Thereisnoneedtoquitanapplicationbeforeopeninganotherone.Use
andswitchbetweenseveralopenapplications.Androidmanageseachapplication,stopping
andstartingthemasneededtoensurethatidleapplicationsdon'tconsumeresources
unnecessarily.
To stop applications:
1 FromtheHomescreen,tap >Appstab(ifnecessary)>Settings >Apps>
RUNNING.
2 TapthedesiredapplicationandtapStoptostopit.
