About the User Guide • Read this user guide carefully before using the product. • The content of the user guide may vary depending on the software/OS version of the product or the mobile service provider, and is subject to change without notice.
Getting to Know the Product LG 360 VR Overview The LG 360 VR enables users to enjoy virtual reality (VR) content with VR technology. When using this product to play VR content, you will be able to turn your head to look in any direction, as if you are truly in the content. With the LG 360 VR, you can view photos and videos taken by the LG 360 CAM (product sold separately) more vividly. • This product is solely compatible with the LG G5 and cannot be used with any other mobile device.
Product Components These are the basic components included with the headset.
• If there are any missing components, contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product. • Some items are subject to change without prior notice depending on the circumstances. • The appearance and specifications of the headset are subject to change without prior notice to improve performance. • The headset can be connected to a mobile device using a USB Type-C cable. • A light blocker and lens protection cover are attached to the headset.

Check your mobile device’s available battery power prior to using this product. • The proximity sensor in this headset’s lens will activate upon wearing the headset. • The headset can be controlled using the connected mobile device as a touch pad.
Removing the light blocker 1 Grab the upper part of the headset with your hands as shown in the picture. Then separate the hook by pulling it in the direction of the arrows, from inside to outside. Light blocker 2 Grab the bottom part of the headset with your hands as shown in the picture, then separate the hook by pulling it in the direction of the arrows, from inside to outside.
Adjusting the Lens Positioning The positioning of the lens can be adjusted by moving it from left to right. Adjusting Lens Focus You can turn the lens to focus it to better suit your vision.
• Before adjusting the lens positioning and focus, please remove the light blocker. • After wearing the headset, adjust the lens by moving it left and right until its position feels comfortable. • Please make sure that the LG 360 VR is connected with the LG G5. • When focusing the lenses, adjust each lens one at a time. • If the screen blurs during use, refocus the lenses until the screen sharpens.
Attaching the light blocker Attach the light blocker to experience more vivid VR content. 1 After adjusting the lens width and focus, place the light blocker on the headset, tightly fitting the hooks and grooves. 2 Press both sides of the light blocker to close the hooks.
3 Fit the bottom part of the light blocker with your hands, as shown in the picture, then push in the direction of the arrows to close the lower hooks. 4 Fit the top part of the light blocker with your hands, as shown in the picture, then push in the direction of the arrows to close the upper hooks.
• Be sure to close the hooks in the following order when attaching: left and right hooks lower hooks upper hooks. • When you have finished attaching the light blocker, confirm that none of the hooks remain open. If a section remains open, press down on the applicable hook to close it. • If the light blocker is not properly attached, light will enter through cracks in the blocker when using the headset and the content will appear less vibrant.
Using the Keys The device features an OK Press key. Select the content or the menu focused on the pointer in the center of the screen. You can also answer an incoming call. To decline a call, press this key twice. Move to the LG 360 VR Home screen.

Installing the 360 VR Manager App You must first install the 360 VR Manager app on your mobile device if you wish to connect the LG 360 VR to your mobile device. When you connect the LG 360 VR to your mobile device, please download the 360 VR Manager app in Google Play Store. After the 360 VR Manager app download is completed, please install the apps (360 VR Home, 360 VR Setting, 360 VR Gallery, 360 VR Video, and vrChannel) in the 360 VR Manager app.
Connecting the LG 360 VR 1 Connect the LG 360 VR’s USB Type-C cable to the mobile device as shown in the picture. • It may take a short while for the LG 360 VR to establish a connection with the mobile device.
2 Launch the 360 VR Manager app on your mobile device. • Refer to the section "Installing the 360 VR Manager App" on page 18 for details on how to install the 360 VR Manager app. • After putting on the headset, use the mobile device as a touch pad when the mobile device screen is turned off. • This headset will not operate normally when an LG CAM Plus (sold separately), Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY (sold separately) or any other devices that are not LG G5 modules are attached to the G5.
Using the 360 VR Manager App After you launch the 360 VR Manager app on the mobile device connected to the headset, the Home screen (as shown below) will appear. • High-resolution video files may not play depending on the specifications of your mobile device.
Putting on the LG 360 VR Wear the headset in the manner shown in the illustration below.
• You may be injured if you wear the product with glasses on. Please refrain from using the product while wearing glasses. • If you require corrective lenses for your vision when using this headset, use contact lenses prescribed by your doctor. • Remove the lens protection cover before wearing and using the headset. • Avoid opening the temple (the legs of the product) with excessive force when wearing the headset. The temple may become loose, break or be damaged.
Using the Basic Features Become accustomed to the basic features of the product prior to use. You may also learn the LG 360 VR’s basic features using the Tutorial on the headset’s Home screen. app Moving to Another Screen The perspective of the screen will shift accordingly when you turn your head from left to right, or up and down. • Be aware that dizziness or nausea may occur if you turn your head too quickly.
Selecting Content or Menus Shift the focus of the screen to the content or menus you wish to key or your mobile device’s screen. select.
Screen Drag When there are many different types of content to select, drag the mobile device’s screen up, down, left or right to move the screen.
Adjusting the Display Orientation Touch and hold the mobile device’s screen with two fingers. The center of the screen will move to your current perspective. • Touch the 360 VR Settings app on the VR Home screen, or key to enter 360 VR Settings and press and hold the OK adjust the screen orientation.
Move to the Previous Screen Briefly press the Back key or touch and hold the mobile device’s screen to move to the previous screen.
Move to the Home Screen Press and hold the Back key to move to the VR Home screen.
Using the VR Home Screen VR Home Screen You can access 360 VR apps and features using the VR Home page. The VR Home screen hosts the latest playback content, the VR channel and the Apps list. Latest Playback Content VR Channel Apps • Safety information appears before you enter the VR Home screen. Make sure you only use the product after reading this safety information.
Using the Settings Touch the 360 VR Settings app on the VR Home screen or press key. and hold the OK You can adjust the screen orientation, brightness and notification settings on the Settings screen. Brightness Adjust the LG 360 VR’s brightness. Adjusting the Display Orientation Adjust the display orientation based on the current direction you are looking in. Turn notifications on/off Adjust settings for receiving mobile device notifications, such as phone calls and text messages.
Making Phone Calls You can press the keys on the product to answer or end a phone call. Receiving a Call Answer phone calls by pressing the OK key. When the “answer key once more. call” pop-up appears, press the OK • When you receive a call while using the headset, a pop-up notification will appear on the display without a ringtone or vibration. • When earphones are connected to the headset, you cannot key.
Holding an Incoming Call Press the Back key once. Declining an Incoming Call Press the Back key twice. Ending an Incoming Call Press the OK key or the Back key. When the “end call” pop-up key or the Back one more appears to end the call, press the OK time.
Product Precautions Please follow the safety precautions carefully to prevent any potential accidents or risk that might be caused by misuse of the product. Handling the Product • If the product or mobile device becomes hot, stop using the product immediately. Further use could result in skin burns and injuries, or damage the product or mobile device. • Use the product in a comfortable position while ensuring the device is horizontal. Wearing the product while moving or tilted could result in discomfort.
• Do not modify or disassemble the product or use it while it is damaged. • Do not touch or use the product if your hands are wet with sweat, water or other forms of moisture. Use of the product may have a negative effect on their eyesight development or sense of balance. • Anyone who is pregnant, elderly or infirm, mentally disabled, mentally ill, epileptic, suffers from vertigo or has a heart condition should consult a doctor before using this product. • Do not use this product if you suffer from strabismus, amblyopia or other eye diseases.
• Consult a doctor if you experience serious symptoms such as continued dizziness, physical discomfort or hearing or vision issues. • Do not look at the sun, lasers, flashes or other powerful lights while wearing the product. • Do not use the product for extended periods at high volume. This means that foreign substances smaller than pixels may appear on parts of the display while viewing. Storing the Product • Wipe the product and the lens gently with the lens cleaner. Do not clean the product with chemicals or detergents. • Do not remove the lens. Doing so may cause the display to be contaminated by foreign substances.
