USING PHONE MENUS
Messages
Text messages, Picture messages, pages and the
Voice Mail box become available as soon as the
phone is powered on.

Check types of messages by pressing the Message
Key .

Make a call to the callback number by pressing
during a message check.

Read and edit messages saved in the Outbox
during transmission and send them.
The phone can store up to 215 messages as
following:
- 50 text, 20 picture and 50 picture notification
messages in Inbox
- 50 text and 20 picture messages in Outbox
- 15 text and 10 picture messages in Saved
The text message supports up to 160 characters per
message and picture message supports up to 1000
characters with one picture and one sound.
The information stored in the message is determined
by phone mode and service capability. Please check
with your service provider for system feature and
capabilities.
New Message Alert
There are three ways your phone alerts you to new
messages.
1. The phone displays a message on the screen.
2. One of five ring types is heard, if selected.
3. The message icon ( ) is displayed on the
screen. In the case of an urgent message, the icon
will flash and Urgent message is displayed.
Note
If you receive the same message twice, your phone
deletes the older one and the new one is stored as
a Duplicate.
