PLAYBACK
STILL PLAYBACK
(FRAME ADVANCE)
1 Press the STILL/F.ADV button to
stop
the
picture
on the screen
during
play-
back.
2 When
you press
STILL/F.ADV button
during
still
playback
mode,
the
tape
will
be
played
back frame
by
frame.

During
still
playback, press
the PLAY button to return to normal
playback.
The still
picture may
be unstable or noise bars
may appear.
During
still
playback
mode,
press
the STILL/F.ADV button
again
to minimize
the noise bars and
press
the TRACKING
(
or
)
buttons to eliminate the
vertical
jitters.
No sound will be heard.
If the unit is left in the STILL mode for more than
approx.
5
minutes,
the unit
will
automatically place
itself in the STOP mode to
protect
the
tape
and the
video heads.
AUTO
REPEAT
FUNCTION
A
tape
can be
played
back
repeatedly.
1 If
you
want to
play
back
tape repeatedly, press
the A.REPEAT button to
light
the A.REPEAT indicator. When the end of the
tape
is
reached,
the unit
automatically
rewinds the
tape
to the
beginning
and
repeats playback
continuously.
2 To cancel the auto
repeat playback
mode,
press
the A.REPEAT button to turn
off the A.REPEAT indicator.
When a
microphone
is
plugged
in,
the auto
repeat
function will not be
operated.

1 Insert a KARAOKE cassette
tape.
Press the PLAY button to
playback
the cassette
tape.
2 Insert the external
microphone
plug
into the MIC
jacks
(MIC
1,
MIC 2 or MIC
1,2),
turn on the
microphone

Adjust
the MIC VOLUME and ECHO VOLUME control knobs to suit
your personal preference
as
necessary.

Sing through
the
microphone.
WHEN YOU USE A MIC ONLY
Press the STOP
button,
PLAY indicator will
disappear.
