18 INSTALLATION
Reversing Handles/Doors
Door reversal must be done by an authorized
installer or service person. If it is not, the doors will
not be covered by the warranty.
Reversing the Refrigerator Handle
1 Loosen the set screws a with a 3/32 in. (2.5
mm) Allen wrench, and remove the handle.
2 Loosen the mounting fasteners b that
connect to the refrigerator door and handle
using a 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) Allen wrench, and
remove the mounting fasteners.
3 Carefully rotate the decorative screw covers
c counterclockwise with your fingers until
they loosen and fall out. Once they're
removed, install the covers in the screw holes
d on the opposite side.
4 Attach the mounting fasteners b to the
opposite side of the door using a 1/4 in. (6.35
mm) Allen wrench.
5 Place the handle on the door by fitting the
handle footprints over the mounting
fasteners b and tightening the set screws a
with a 3/32 in. (2.5 mm) Allen wrench.
Reversing Doors
1 Remove the top hinge cover screws a. Use a
flat-head screwdriver to release the tabs
inside the front of the cover at the bottom b.
Remove the cover.
2 Type A
• Rotate the hinge lever
c clockwise. Lift the
top hinge
d free of the hinge lever latch e.
