IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS • Be sure that all surface controls are set in the O f f position prior to supplying gas to the range. • Never leave the surface burners unattended at high flame settings. Boilovers may cause smoke and greasy spillovers that may ignite. • Always turn the knobs to the Li t e position when igniting the top burners and make sure the burners have ignited. • Control the top burner flame size so it does not extend beyond the edge of the cookware. Excessive flame is hazardous.

INSTALLATION 1 5 Provide proper clearance between the range and adjacent combustible surfaces. These dimensions must be met for safe use of your range. The location of the electrical outlet and pipe opening (see Gas Pipe and Electrical Outlet Locations, page 14) may be adjusted to meet specific requirements. Make sure you are supplying your range with the type of gas for which it is configured. The anti-tip bracket is packaged with an installation template.
INSTALLATION 1 7 4 When all connections have been made, be sure all range controls are in the OFF position and the pressure regulator valve is open before turning on the main gas supply valve. Gas leaks may occur in your system and create a hazard. Gas leaks may not be detected by smell alone. If an external electrical source is utilized, a statement that the appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70 or the Canadian Electric Code, CSA C22.1-02.
INSTALLATION 1 9 The combustion quality of the burner flames needs to be confirmed visually. A Y e llo w C A U T IO N f l a m e s - Call for service. Do not operate the burners without all parts in place. B Y e l l o w t i p s o n o u t e r c o n e s - This is normal for LP gas. Place the burner caps and heads on the cooktop. Make sure that the caps and heads are placed in the correct locations. There is one small, one medium, one large, and one extra large burner head and cap.

Le v e l i n g t h e R a n g e Level the range by adjusting the leveling legs. Extending the legs slightly may also make it easier to insert the rear leg into the anti-tip bracket.

In case of a power failure, you can light the gas surface burners on the range with a match. 2 Place cookware on the grate. Surface burners in use when an electrical power failure occurs will continue to operate normally. 3 Push the control knob and turn to the LIT E position.
OPERATION 2 3 If using a wok, use a 14-inch or smaller flat-bottomed wok. Make sure that the wok bottom sits flat on the grate. Do not touch vent openings or nearby surfaces during any cooking operation. Read all instructions before using.

All of the features listed have a minimum and a maximum time or temperature setting that can be entered into the control. A beep sounds each time a button is pressed.
OPERATION 2 7 The oven settings allow you to: The Timer On/Off feature serves as an extra timer in the kitchen that beeps when the set time has run out. It does not start or stop cooking. • set the hour mode on the clock (12 or 24 hours) The Timer On/Off feature can be used during any of the other oven control functions. • adjust the oven temperature 1 Press T i m e r O n / O f f button once to set the time in hours and minutes, or press the button twice to set the time in minutes and seconds.

It does not disable the timer and the interior oven light. 1 Press Se t t i n g s repeatedly until B e e p appears in the display. 2 Press 1 repeatedly to select Hi , Lo or O f f . 3 Press St a r t to accept the change. Press and hold C l e a r / O f f for three seconds.

OPERATION 3 1 • Use the automatic timer when cooking cured or frozen meats and most fruits and vegetables. Foods that can easily spoil, such as milk, eggs, fish, meat or poultry, should be chilled in the refrigerator. Even when chilled, they should not stand in the oven for more than 1 hour before cooking begins, and should be removed promptly when cooking is completed.
3 2 OPERATION R e c o m m e n d e d B a k in g a n d R o a s tin g Gu i d e • Center pans on racks for best baking results. If baking with more than one pan, place the pans so that each one has at least 1" to 11/2" of air space around it. Do not allow pans to touch the walls of the oven. B a k e Bake is used to prepare foods such as pastries, breads and casseroles. The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170 °F (80 °C) to 550 °F (285 °C). The default temperature is 350 °F (175 °C).

3 4 OPERATION B r o il Se t t i n g t h e O v e n t o B r o i l The oven is designed for closed-door broiling. Broil uses the intense radiant heat from the upper gas burner. 1 Press B r o i l once for Hi and twice for Lo. 2 Press St a r t . 3 Allow the broiler to preheat for five minutes. 4 Place food in the oven. 5 Close the oven door. The oven door must be closed during broiling. The Broil function works best when broiling thin, tender cuts of meat (1" or less), poultry or fish.
OPERATION 3 5 The size, weight, thickness, starting temperature, and preference of doneness will affect broiling times. This guide is based on meats at refrigerator temperature. For best results when broiling, use a pan designed for broiling. 3 6 OPERATION Sa b b a t h M o d e Sabbath mode is typically used on the Jewish Sabbath and Holidays. When the SABBATH mode is activated, the oven does not turn off until the SABBATH mode is deactivated. In SABBATH mode, all function buttons, except for the CLEAR/OFF are inactive. Sb will appear in both the cooktop and oven displays. NO T E • If the oven light is turned ON and the SABBATH mode is active, the oven light will turn OFF.
OPERATION 3 7 W a rm Remotely starts or stops the preheating function of the appliance. The appliance must be connected to a home Wi-Fi network to use Remote Start. This function will maintain an oven temperature of 170 °F. The Warm function will keep cooked food warm for serving up to three hours after cooking has finished. The Warm function may be used without any other cooking operations. Se t t i n g R e m o t e St a r t 1 Open the oven door and make sure that the oven is empty.
3 8 OPERATION NO T E • To avoid lowering the oven temperature and lengthening proofing time, do not open the oven door unnecessarily. Check bread products early to avoid over proofing. • Do not use the proofing mode for warming food or keeping food hot. The proofing oven temperature is not hot enough to keep foods at safe temperatures. Use the Warm feature to keep food warm. Proofing does not operate when the oven is above 125 °F. OPERATION 3 9 - Air Fry Tray • Arrange food evenly in a single layer. • Put a foil-lined baking pan on a rack in position 2 to catch drips. If needed, add parchment paper to absorb oil and reduce smoking. • Flip food over during cooking to avoid burning it. * High-fat items may produce more smoke when cooked using Air Fry. SMART FUNCTIONS 4 1 LG T h i n Q B e f o r e U s i n g LG T h i n Q 1 A p p lic a tio n Use a smartphone to check the strength of the wireless router (Wi-Fi network) near the appliance. This feature is only available on models with the or logo. • If the distance between the appliance and the wireless router is too far, the signal becomes weak. It takes long time to register or fails to install the application.
4 2 SMART FUNCTIONS F C C NO T E • The wireless network name (SSID) should be a combination of English letters and numbers. (Do not use special characters.) • Smartphone user interface (UI) may vary depending on the mobile operating system (OS) and the manufacturer. • If the security protocol of the router is set to W EP , network setup may fail. Change the security protocol (W P A 2 is recommended), and register the product again.
SMART FUNCTIONS 4 3 F e a tu re This feature is only available on models with the or icon. Use this feature to help you diagnose and solve problems with your appliance. NO T E • For reasons not attributable to LGE’s negligence, the service may not operate due to external factors such as, but not limited to, WiFi unavailability, Wi-Fi disconnection, local app store policy, or app unavailability.

MAINTENANCE 4 5 C l e a n i n g t h e C o o k t o p Su r f a c e The range consists of three separate professionalstyle grates. For maximum stability, these grates should only be used when in their proper position. The two side grates can be interchanged from left to right and front to back. The center grate can be interchanged from front to back. C A U T IO N • To avoid burns, do not clean the cooktop surface until it has cooled. • Do not lift the cooktop surface.
4 6 MAINTENANCE C o n tro l P a n e l To prevent activating the control panel during cleaning, unplug the range. Clean up splatters with a damp cloth using a glass cleaner. Remove heavier soil with warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasives of any kind. St a i n l e s s St e e l Su r f a c e s To avoid scratches, do not use steel wool pads. Place a small amount of stainless steel appliance cleaner or polish on a damp cloth or paper towel.
MAINTENANCE 4 7 Ea s y C l e a n Most oven doors contain glass that can break. LG’s EasyClean® enamel technology provides two cleaning options for the inside of the range. The EasyClean® feature takes advantage of LG’s new enamel to help lift soils without harsh chemicals, and it runs using ONLY WATER for just 10 minutes in low temperatures to help loosen LIGHT soils before handcleaning. C A U T IO N • Do not close the oven door until all the oven racks are fully in place.

Suggested plastic scrapers: • Hard plastic spatula • Plastic pan scraper • Plastic paint scraper • Old credit card 4 3 1 9 Clean the oven cavity immediately after the EasyClean® cycle by scrubbing with a wet, non-scratch scouring sponge or pad. (The scouring side will not scratch the finish.
MAINTENANCE 4 9 NO T E • Remove oven racks and accessories before starting the Self Clean cycle. • If oven racks are left in the oven cavity during the Self Clean cycle, they will discolor and become difficult to slide in and out. The Self Clean cycle uses extremely hot temperatures to clean the oven cavity. While running the Self Clean cycle, you may notice smoking or an odor. This is normal, especially if the oven is heavily soiled. • Clean the frame of the oven and door with hot soapy water.

The oven defaults to the recommended four-hour self clean for a moderately soiled oven. MAINTENANCE 5 1 The oven light is a standard 40-watt appliance bulb. It turns on when the oven door is open. When the oven door is closed, press Light or knock twice on the oven door glass to turn it on or off. 5 2 MAINTENANCE R e p la c in g th e D o o r (2 ) 1 Firmly grasp both sides of the door at the top. 2 With the door at the same angle as the removal position, seat the indentation of the hinge arms into the bottom edge of the hinge slots. The notch in the hinge arms must be fully seated into the bottom edge of the slots. TROUBLESHOOTING 5 3 C a n Iu s e a lu m in u m o v e n c a v ity ? F A Q s Never use aluminum foil to line the bottom or sides of the oven or the warming drawer. The foil will melt and stick to the bottom surface of the oven and will not be removable. Use a sheet pan placed on a lower oven rack to catch drippings instead. (If foil has already melted onto the bottom of the oven, it will not interfere with the oven’s performance.

TROUBLESHOOTING 5 5 Before you call for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. The list includes common occurrences that are not the result of defective workmanship or materials in this appliance.
