MAINTENANCE 11 Surface Maintenance Removing Mesh Filters Clean periodically with hot soapy water and a clean cotton cloth. Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergent, or steel wool/scouring pads which will scratch and damage surface. Do not use products containing chlorine bleach or citrus-based cleaners. 1 Push handle on filter toward back of range hood. 2 Pivot the front of the filter down and pull the filter forward to remove it. Troubleshooting TROUBLESHOOTING Before Calling for Service Symptoms Possible Causes / Solutions •• The power source is not turned ON. After installation, the unit doesn’t work. - Make sure the circuit breaker and the unit’s power is ON. •• The power cord and the cable locking connector are not connected properly. - Make sure the power cord is properly connected to the unit.
