• DO NOT store heavy items above the cooktop surface as they could fall and
damage it.
• DO NOT scratch the cooktop or the cooktop could crack.
• Clean the cooktop before and after using.

Improper usage
• Do not hit enamel cooktop.
Pitting of the
cooktop glass
If not removed immediately, sugary spillovers (such as preserves, ketchup,
tomato sauce, jellies, fudge, candy, syrups, or chocolate) or melted plastic or foil
can cause surface pitting of the cooktop. (Not covered by warranty)
• Remove the molten material IMMEDIATELY with a metal razor scraper.
• For safety, wear an oven mitt or hot pad while scraping the hot surface.
