Thermometer
3) Evaluation of the performance
1. Measure the temperature of the intake
and discharge air.
2. Ensure the difference between the intake
temperature and the discharge one is
more than 8°C (Cooling) or reversely
(Heating).
Teach the customer the operation and maintenance procedures, using the operation manual (air filter cleaning,
temperature control, etc.).
HAND OVER
CAUTION
After the confirmation of the above conditions, prepare the wiring as foll ows:
1) Never fail to have an individual power speciali zed for the air conditione r. As for the metho d
of wiring , be guided by the circuit diagram pasted on the inside of cont rol box cover.
2) Provide a circuit breaker switch between power sou rce and the unit.
3) The screw which fasten the wiring in the casing of electrical fittings are lia ble to come
loose from vibrations to whi ch the unit is subjected during the cou rse of transpo rtation.
Check them and make sure that th ey are all tight ly fastened . (If th ey are loos e, it could
give rise to burn-out of the wires.)
4) Specification of power sou rce
5) Confirm that electrical capacity is sufficient.
6) Be sure that the starting volt age is maintained at more than 90 percent of the rated
volt age marked on the name plat e.
7) Confirm that the cable thi ckness is as specified in the power sou rces specification.
(Particular ly note the relation between cable length and thi ckness.)
8) Never fail to equip a leakage breaker where it is wet or moist.
9) The foll owing troubles would be caused by volt age drop-d own.
Vibration of a magnetic switch, damage on the contact point there of, fuse breaking,
disturbance to the normal function of a overload protection device.
• Proper starting power is not given to the compressor.
