Connections Connecting to a TV Progressive Scan connection Make one of the following connections, depending on the capabilities of your existing equipment. • If your television is a high-definition or “digital ready” television, you may take advantage of this unit’s progressive scan output for higher video resolution. • If your TV does not accept the Progressive Scan format, the picture will appear scrambled if you try Progressive Scan on the unit.

If you are using the Component Video jacks for connection to a TV or monitor that is compatible with a progressive scan signal, set Progressive Scan to On. Press SELECT/ENTER to confirm. Playback starts from the selected time.

Presetting the radio stations Listening to the radio You can preset 50 stations for FM and AM.
