Turning
off the
computer
1.
Quit
all
running applications;
click Start and choose Shut down from the start
up
menu.
Caution
If
the Drive
in
use indicator is
on,
do not tur
n
off the
computer,
as
doing
so
may
damage
the data
being
read from or written to the dr ive.
2.
Press the
power
switch.
3.
Pressing
the
power
switch starts the self
diagnostics;
then Windo
ws(R)
XP
startup
screen is
displayed.
