Connecting Smart Devices using NFC Tagging
Near Field Communication (NFC) is a technology that allows you to conveniently send
and receive information without any separate settings.
By bringing a smart device near the NFC-enabled remote control you can install the LG
ThinQ app and connect the device to the TV.
Some countries do not support LG ThinQ app installation with NFC tags. In this case,
download the LG ThinQ app from each app store.
Turn on NFC in the settings of the smart device.
To use NFC with Android devices, set the NFC option to enable read/write tags in
the settings of the smart device.
The NFC settings may vary depending on the device.
01
Turn on the smart device screen and place it near the
on the remote control.
The maximum distance for NFC tagging is about 1 cm (0.39 inches).
02
Follow the instructions to install the LG ThinQ app on your smart device.03
Tag your smart device to the remote control again. LG ThinQ allows you to connect
to the TV and watch the contents of your smart device or enjoy the screen of your
smart device.
