functions
TV
and
AV
modes
Inputs
can
be
set
for
TV
or
AV
mode.
AV mode
is
used
when
a
video
cassette
recorder
(VCR),
or
other
equipment
is
connected
to
the
set.
Note
:
When
a
VCR
is
connected
via
the
aerial
socket
the
set
is
used
in
TV
mode.

the
'Connection
of
external
equipment'
section.
1.
Repeatedly
press
the
MENU
button
to
select
MENU
3.
2.
Press
the
Δ
/
Ε
button
to
select
INPUT.
3.
Press
the
Φ
/
Γ
button
to
select
TV,
AV1,
AV2
or
AV3.
The
three
AV
modes
are
:
AV
1
:
VCR
connected
to
the
AV
1
sockets
on
the
back
AV
2
:
VCR
connected
to
the
AV
2
sockets
on
the
front
AV
3
:
VCR
connected
to
the
Euro
scart
socket
on
the
back
4.
Press
the
OK
button.
To
return
to
TV
mode
from
AV mode
press
the
Δ
/
Ε
or
NUMBER
buttons.
Alternatively
you
can
select
the
TV
or
AV mode
by
pressing
the
TV/AV
button.
Child
lock
The
TV
can
be
set
so
that
the
remote
control
handset
is
needed
to
control
it.
This
feature
can
be
used
to
prevent
unauthorised
viewing.

Repeatedly
press
the
MENU
button
to
select
MENU
3.
2.
Press
the
Δ
/
Ε
button
to
select
CHILD
LOCK.
3.
Press
the
Φ
/
Γ
button
on
the
remote
control
handset
to
select
ON
or
OFF.
4.
Press
the
OK
button
to
return
to
normal
TV
viewing.
With
the
child
lock
on,
the
display
CHILD
LOCK
ON
appears
on
the
screen
if
any
button
on
the
front
panel
is
pressed
while
viewing
the TV.
Sound
system
setting
If
the
sound
is
distorted
or
noisy,
reset
TV
system
using
this
function.

Repeatedly
press
the
MENU
button
to
select
MENU
3.
2.
Press
the
Δ
/
Ε
button
to
select
SOUND
SYSTEM.
3.
Press
the
Φ
/
Γ
button
to
select
the
correct
sound
system,
BG[5.5],
I[6.0],
DK[6.5]
or
M[4.5].
4.
Press
the
OK
button
to
return
to
normal

viewing.
