Slide the faceplate forwards over the soft stop bracket

Snap the safety lock

The safety lock prevents the hinge from snap-closing.

Using a screwdriver, lift off the cover

outside and remove it in an outward direction.

If necessary, tip the appliance backwards with the assis-
tance of a second person.

Unscrew the soft stop unit (2x Torx® 15)

Pull the soft stop unit out a little, push it in the direction of the
handle side and swing it out.

Set the soft stop unit aside.

Close the lower door.
For appliances without soft stop mechanism:

Draw the middle bearing pin

hinge and lower door.
For appliances with soft stop mechanism:

Remove the plastic cap

CAUTION
Risk of injury if the door tips!

Take good hold of the door.
u
Set down the door carefully.
u
Open the lower door.
u
Unscrew the middle turn hinge (2x Torx® 25).

Lift off the lower door and set it aside.

Turn the middle turn hinge

through 180° and screw it firmly into place on
the new hinge side (with 4 Nm).

Turn the cover panel

into place again on the new handle side.

Carefully lift off the cover on the handle side

new hinge side, possibly using a cordless screwdriver (with
4 Nm).

Re-insert the stopper

that the locating lug points backwards
