Start-up 4.2 Setting up the device WARNING Risk of fire due to short circuit. If the power cable or plug of the appliance or another appliance and the back of the appliance touch each other the power cable or plug will be damaged by the vibrations of the appliance which could lead to a short circuit. u Install the appliance so that it does not touch any plugs or power cables. u Do not connect the appliance or other appliances to the sockets on the back of the appliance.

Start-up u Remove the mains cable from the back of the appliance. Also remove the cable holder, otherwise there will be vibration noise! u Position the mains cable using a piece of string so that the appliance can easily be connected to the electricity supply after it has been built-in Fig. 8 Fig. 6 Fix the foam element centrally in the appliance plinth trim. The foam element is used to separate the incoming and outgoing air currents and permits sufficient ventilation.

Start-up u Position the unit door and unit plinth trim for testing u If the plinth trim (2) is visible, pull it forward as far as possible so that the front edge of the ventilation grid and the unit plinth trim lie flush. -oru If the plinth trim (2) is covered, push it fully back. u Make sure the ventilation slots are completely unobstructed: If necessary, crop the height of the unit plinth trim (U)! w Adjust the height of the rack (V) below the appliance plinth trim (2) along the width of the recess (W).

Contact Customer Service. 5 Operation 5.1 Temperature display unit The temperature display can be changed from °F to °C.
Operation WARNING Danger of food poisoning! No record will be kept of a power failure during Sabbath Mode. Thus, during Sabbath mode, if a power failure occurs that you are not aware of, when the power comes back on, the unit will continue to be in Sabbath Mode but when Sabbath Mode is ended there will be no indication that a power failure occurred. If a power failure occurs during Sabbath mode: u Check the quality of the food.
Operation 5.7 SuperCool 5.9 Moving the supporting bars With SuperCool you switch to the highest cooling performance to reach lower cooling temperatures. Use SuperCool to rapidly cool large quantities of food. If SuperCool has been switched on the appliance runs at maximum refrigerating capacity. As a result the noises from the refrigeration unit may temporarily be louder. SuperCool will use more energy than normal operation.
Maintenance 5.11 Storing in the lift-up box u Unopened and securely closed bottles and packages can be stored in the lift-up box. NOTICE Incorrect cleaning damages the appliance. u Do not use concentrated cleaning agents. u Do not use steel wool or sponges that scour or scratch. u Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning materials or those containing sand, chloride, or acids. u Do not use chemical solvents. u Do not damage or remove the rating plate on the inside of the appliance.
Troubleshooting. u Notify a qualified service provider, specifying the fault, appliance designation Fig. 36 (1), service no.
