Operation of Generator
HOW TO USE YOUR GENERATOR
STARTING THE ENGINE: Refer to the Controls and Features section.
1. Unplug all electrical loads from the generator.
2. Make sure the generator is in a level position.
3. Open the fuel cock by turning the fuel cock to the “ON” position.
4. For cold engine starts only: Pull the choke pin to the engaged position per the instruction
label on the generator main frame.
PULL START (RECOIL) ONLY MODELS:
5. Place the On/Off switch in the “ON” (l) position.
6. Grasp starter handle and pull slowly until resistance is felt. Then pull the cord rapidly with a
full arm stroke. Allow the rope to return slowly. Do NOT allow the rope to snap back against
housing.

WARNING!
Running generator gives off carbon monoxide gas. It is odorless, colorless, and highly
toxic.
Breathing carbon monoxide gas can leads to fainting, nausea or may result in death.
 Only operate generator outdoors.
 Prevent exhaust gas from entering, through windows doors or ventilation intakes, any confined areas.
 DO NOT operate generator inside any enclosed or roofed areas. This includes the generator compartment of
any recreational vehicle (RV).
