INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing Lifesmart as your preferred Infrared Heater provider. Esteemed Customer. . .Until now you have shopped around. You have seen many Infrared Heaters and Infrared Heater fireplaces. You have seen the infrared fireplace heaters: 1) without a mantle 2) with an added mantle only 3) with a media center mantle only 4) And you have even seen the fireplace heaters used as a luxurious corner furniture addition (with an un-removable corner piece).
Note that this fireplace heater is NOT intended to replace your home furnace; rather it is designed to be a supplement to it. It is not an instant heater – it can take up to 24 hours for a room to reach the desired temperature.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following: 1. Read all instructions before using this heater. 2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater.

To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. 13. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored. 14. Use this heater only as described in this manual.
GETTING STARTED Please check to make sure you have all items included in the box prior to choosing a permanent heater location or starting the installation process. *Contents in the Box (14 individual items total): 1. Tools/Items Recommended For Assembly 1. Medium Phillips Screwdriver or Flat Head Screwdriver OR Important Things to Know Prior to Assembly 1. For aesthetic purposes, this version of the product may not come with transport wheels. Although is not very heavy, moving it back and forth may become tiresome. For your safety, and to prevent unnecessary damage, please select a placement location for your heater prior to assembly.
Know Your Product This section is for reference, and outlines the main components of your fireplace heater and their locations. Please study it carefully prior to the actual assembly so you become familiar with the parts terminology and the shows you how the assembled product will look like when complete.
This next section shows you the steps it takes to assemble your product. Although the instructions walk you through the full assembly (from standard fireplace to fireplace with mantle to mantle fireplace with corner piece attachment), you may assemble the fireplace only as far as you choose. The Assembly Process When you first unpack your product, the Infrared Fireplace Heater Body will come pre-assembled right out of the box.
Preparation: Once the mantle is seated, prepare the hardware that will secure the mantle to the fireplace by doing the following: P1. Use the 2 cam screws supplied in the hardware bag. Install one in the stud located on the underside of the mantle’s rear overhang. Install the second one in the stud located on the rear bottom center of the fireplace body. Make sure they are tightened clockwise. Do not cross thread the screws, or over tighten the screws (Reference below). P1 P2.
Step 2: Mount the L Bracket to secure the mantle to the fireplace body via the 2 cam screws you prepared in P1 above. Re-enforce the bracket by tightening the 2 cam locks (prepared in P2 above) clockwise using the screwdriver. Secure them but do not over-tighten (reference below). 12 Downloaded from www.Manualslib.
Preparation: Once the mantle is secured, prepare the mantle for the corner piece installation by doing the following: P3. Using your fingers, take the two wooden pivot supports (hidden inside the rear mantle slot) and rotate them out of the slot, until they are fully extended. Make sure the holes (on the ends) are facing the rear of the unit (Reference below). P3 13 Downloaded from www.Manualslib.
Step 3: Mount the Corner Piece Attachment on to the 2 pivot supports you prepared in P3 above. Re-enforce the corner piece attachment by aligning and tightening 2 wing nut fasteners and 2 flat washers. These can be hand tightened. Secure them but do not over-tighten (reference below). FIREPLACE PLACEMENT Our Infrared fireplace heater is a very safe and effective room heater. It produces safe, clean and economical heat by utilizing quartz infrared heating elements and heat exchangers. The heating process of the Infrared fireplace heater is similar to the way the sun warms the earth. The infrared elements warm the heat exchangers and the whisper quiet fan distributes the accumulated warmth.
FIREPLACE OPERATION Plug your Infrared fireplace heater power cord into a 120V, 15amp or 20amp three-bladed receptacle. To Turn the Fireplace On: Press the Power button control. on the control panel or on the remote Default Set Temperature: The default set temperature every time the heater is powered on is 72°; this cannot be changed and will have to be adjusted every time the heater is reset.
TROUBLESHOOTING If your heater unit shuts off unexpectedly: 1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet. 2. Check for any obstructions. If you find one, turn the hearting unit OFF and unplug it. Wait at least 10 minutes to allow the heating unit to cool completely before removing any obstruction. When done, plug in the heating unit and follow the Operation Instructions. If your heater unit tips over: 1.
