Installation Guide
The extra pieces for roof ridge are produced by cutting off the strips from the bitumen shingles. (Pic D).
Fasten the pieces on the roof ridge (overlap about 2”) by folding the pieces to both sides of the ridge, see
Pic. E. Nail the pieces with clout nails approximately every 4”.
When you have finished fitting the shingles, fix the wind cover boards and front fascia. It is easiest to nail
these together first then offer them up to the roof and secure them through the fascia and into the purlins
(drawing 12).
Attention! The undersides of bitumen shingles are covered with self-adhesive material, which will adhere
when the weather is warm.
