Section 3-HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Potential Health Effects: Primary Entry Routes: Eyes, skin, lungs (breathing). Target Organs:
Eyes, skin, lungs.
Acute Effects: Eye: May cause irritation, redness or burning. Skin: May cause irritation or redness. Breathing:
long term inhalation may cause delayed lung injury.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Long-Term Exposure: Persons with existing skin lesions should exercise caution when using
or handling this product.
Section 4-FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Skin Contact:
Wash affected area with mild soap and water to remove chemical from skin or hair. Get medical attention if irritation persists or
develops. Launder contaminated clothing separately prior to reuse.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Administer artificial
respiration if necessary.
Ingestion: Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Administer 1 or 2 glasses of water
and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger.
Section 5-FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: NA. Flammability Classification: Non-flammable. Extinguishing Media for Surrounding Area: Water spray, dry
chemical, carbon dioxide, foam.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Burning product may produce irritating or poisonous gases. Fire-Fighting Instructions: Fire
fighters should wear full protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus. Prevent runoff from entering water
systems. Keep non-essential personnel out of fire area.
Section 6-ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill/Leak Procedures: See Section 8 for Personal Protective Equipment. Contain spill and collect for reuse or
disposal. Prevent spill from entering water systems.
Section 7- HANDLING and STORAGE
Handling Precautions: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid inhalation of dust. Wash after handling.
Do not contaminate water by disposal of equipment wash waters.
Storage Requirements: Store in original container
in a cool, dry area preferably locked and out of reach of children. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage
or disposal.
