The VRTEX
®
MOBILE is a virtual reality arc welding
trainer.  This computer based training system is an
educationaltooldesignedtoallowstudentstopractice
theirweldingtechniqueinasimulatedenvironment.It
promotestheefficienttransferofweldingskillsfromthe
classroomtotheweldingbooth,whilereducingmater-
ialwasteandenergyconsumptionassociatedwithtra-
ditionalweldingtraining.
