System is functional. If
performance problems
exist, see performance
recommendations
Replace the
output board.
Does
arc go out within
5 seconds?
Choke may be
shorted. Replace.
Make a short cut and pull
back into pilot mode.
Hold trigger until pilot arc
goes out.
Make sure clamp
is secured to work
Will arc transfer
to work piece?
Is pilot arc smooth
and continuous?
Disassemble torch
check for oil and/or
water contamination
Perform the Torch
Continuity and
Solenoid Test.
Consumables may
be worn. Replace.
After 2 seconds of
preflow, does pilot
arc start?
Does preflow gas
flow from torch?
Pull gun trigger
and hold
Press PURGE button, set
pressure to 70psi, then
release. If no air flow from
torch, perform Gas
Solenoid Test.
Is green power
LED is only one lit
Wait 5
seconds
Turn on
START
Make sure machine
reconnect is properly
set for the input voltage
Are all LED’s
flashing?
Perform the Primary
Power Board
Resistance Test
Perform the
Auxiliary
Transformer Test
Perform the
Input Rectifier
Test
Are all LED’s
lit?
The microprocessor
is faulty, replace
the control board
Are all LED’s
off?
Perform the
Auxiliary
Transformer Test
Perform the
Input Rectifier
Test
Perform the
Low Voltage
Circuit Test
Air low LED?
Safety LED?
Thermal LED?
Connect air supply,
check air pressure
sensor
Clean or replace
consumables
Is safety LED
flashing?
Perform the
Torch Continuity
and Solenoid Test
Press
Reset button
Check leads "N", "E", #364,
& #369 between the torch
receptacle and the
output board
Thermostats tripped. Leave
machine on and allow to cool.
Make sure fans are functioning.
If problems persist, turn machine off
and blow out inside. Make sure air
louvers are not blocked. If thermal
LED never turns off, check thermostats
and leads. Control board may be
faulty. If machine operates normally
while thermal LED is lit, the display
board may be faulty.

Make sure torch is
connected properly,
then perform the
Trigger Circuit Test
Output board
may be faulty
Check torch cable for
kinks or restriction
to air flow
Perform the
Torch Continuity
and Solenoid Test
Electrode Solenoid
in gun handle may
be faulty
