Lady,andUliRoth’sworkwiththeScorpions.TakeacloselookatthesmalltextlabelingtheBASS and TREBLE knobs of
yourDM4.Theseknobshavespecialfunctionsforusewiththismodel:BASS controls feedback and TREBLE sets the rate of
the phaser. The trusty MIDknobgivesyoutonecontroloverthefuzzpartoftheeffect.Thenoisegatefunctiondoesnotwork
withJettFuzz.

allsortsofniftyeffectswhentheirattentionturnedtothedistortion/fuzzpedal.TheirmostpopularofferingwastheBigMuff

Pi,knownmoreforitssweetsustainthanforitsbuzz.Electro-Harmonix
®
was famous for their use of surplus parts, and the results
ofthispracticewereever-changingcircuitdesignsandpartsspecs.Asyoucanseeinthepictureofourcollection,theBigMuff
had several looks, but the sweetheart of the bunch is the one in the middle, known as the “triangle knob pattern” model. MID
